What I learned in this class so far-Week 1
First we learned about how to shake hands. The most important things when we shake hands are “brief”, “warm”, “firm”. If your hand shake is too long it may let your partner become unconfortable or little bit nervous. “Warm” hand shake does not mean your body heat, it means the mood of yor hand shake. You have to shake hands with your afection. “Firm” hand shake bring reliability to you.
Next if you say something you want to convey your opinion, you shoud use the “power posing”. “Power posing” is the stance to show your authority when you say something in front of people. Important thing is to show your authority, so you shoud lift your chest and face forward.
Then you should not cross your arm or drop your eyes because it looks defensive or unconvincing. In addition, you shoud keep on smiling when you are talking. It makes you more affable.
If you can do these things, you can resonate your audience or team.
Week one-Self Introduction
Hello.I'm Yoshiki from Osaka. My hometown is Sakai city in Osaka. I'm a member of American Football Club.
We have weight training or practice almost everyday. So when I met Ken at the Weight Gym in ICU, I was surprised. It is so hard for me but it makes me strong because I had never join the club activity. By the way, my position is WR and DB. WR means Wide Receiver. WR has to catch the pass and bring it to the goal area. This is offence. Then DB means Befensive Back. DB has to cover the deep area.
And I also like to ski from a child. When I was in Osaka, I often went to the ski resort in Gifu or Fukui. Now I go to Nagano. I think Nagano is sacrid area of skiing in the main island of Japan.
This is the Shiga Kogen in nagano. I love this ski resort because sooooo large that we can not go around.
Now, these are one of my motivations in life. And thank you for watching. I'm not good at speaking English but I 'll communicate with you as much as possible.
